Revealing... Pokémon party!

Finally took some time to finish up my partying jar. Oh, did I mention that I finally bought a super large baking oven for my new home? Super exciting with the baking of food and clay!!!

This party in a bottle was inspired by my childhood playmates, Pokémons... My favourite were Jigglypuff and Pikachu, with that tone of Pikachu's yellow as my most-loved colour tone! Really loveeee that yellow...
Pokémon party! Jigglypuff is singing her lullaby and Pikachu
decided to fall asleep, as usual XD
Just so everyone know, I have been trying to update my blog as often as I can (trying to do at least once a month) to keep up with my creativity, but I might not be able to do so for the near future because I will be taking part-time master programme. Hmmm, wish me luck, and keep crafting!

Weekend project, done.

Been wanting to do a key cover for my newly acquired office key (which didn't work very well on the door, anyway). So there you are... good try yeah? :D
Rilakkuma! How do you love it?
EDIT: This rilakkuma broke into pieces once I slotted in my key into its rightful keyhole and took a 360 degree turn... Maybe I have not baked it hard enough, but I guess maybe just some brands are not as hard though cured fully. Will look into that....

Happy anniversary! It's us being together for 3 years, and I do hope we have infinite 3 years to come in the future. May we be blessed with strength to walk, hand-in-hand, for the rest of our lives. Muah baby! :*

Pusheen the cat

I'm sure most of us know what Pusheen is thanks to Facebook stickers. So my friends spontaneously suggested that I should make a Pusheen cat from clay.

Pusheen: meow!

Tutorial here.
(Psst, I am still learning from tutorials, simply because I'm still a newbie! Need more practice...)

*struggles*

Though happy with my new clay haul the day before, I found it very difficult to play with the real polymer clay! The Kato Polyclay is extremely hard to knead with fingers and I ended up using a hammer. My first attempt was to make a cute little dinosaur polymer clay charm like here. But l gave up finally... And made a Play-Doh version of a kawaii dino instead!

First and failure.
So I know from here that I have not been conditioning my clay well. And that these clays are really, really hard to condition. (T_T) More effort next time!
